A public visitation is Friday, February 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m.-Noon at the Beaver Crossing United Methodist Church. Private graveside services will be at the Beaver Crossing Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Hearts United For Animals Pet Rescue, PO Box 286 Auburn, NE.
Ann Marie White was born on July 25, 1947, in York, Nebraska to Duane and Rose Marie (Schuster) Miller and passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Prairie Meadows Care Center in Omaha at the age of 73.
As a young girl, Ann attended Beaver Crossing Public School and was united in marriage to Ronald Lee White on June 14, 1964 in Beaver Crossing and to this union three children were born: Doug, Troy and Trish. Together they lived in Beaver Crossing, later in Platte Center and Lincoln. Ann enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother and her family was the center of her life. Besides being a homemaker, Ann operated “Resumes by Ann” for 17 years and enjoyed genealogy, scrapbooking, attending auctions and reselling antiques and collectables. Ann also loved watching and following Nebraska Volleyball, as well as attending many of her grandchildren’s school activities.
Survivors include her husband, Ron White, Lincoln, her children and spouses, Doug and Julie White, Bellevue, Troy and Carrie White, LaVista, Trish and Travis Nilsen, Lincoln, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Alan Muir, Joshua Tree, California, Steve and Marilyn Muir, Lincoln, Gene Muir, Colusa, CA, sisters, Teresa Muir, Lincoln, Lisa Hartshorn, Omaha, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gordon and Carmen White, Sutherland, NE, Kenny and Carol White, Beaver Crossing, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her grandparents, Homer and Iva Miller, Margaret and William Schuster, her parents, an infant brother, Douglas, step-brother, David Muir, brothers-in-law, Jack White, and Robert White.
