Roger Lynn Semler was born on October 14, 1946, in Lincoln, NE to Robert and Dorothy (Gubser) Semler and passed away Sunday April 10, 2022 in rural Dorchester at the age of 75. Roger grew up and attended Dorchester Public school. After graduation Roger attended University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Roger served with US Army from October 1966 to July 1968 in Ft Lewis, Washington as a military police officer. Roger returned from service to his lifelong career, farming and playing in the dirt in the Friend and Dorchester area.

Roger is survived by son Doug and Jessica Semler, Friend, NE, daughter Carissa Roumph, Gretna, NE. Grandchildren, Mason and Tristen Semler, Kaleb and Kasen Roumph. Sister Nancy and Lee Quirus, Redding, CA and other family and friends

Preceded in death by his daughter Kendra Semler, mother and father.
